DIATHERMY

Diathermy is a bloodless procedure used primarily for cosmetic treatment of the face, neck, shoulder, chest and back. These are the areas of the body which get exposed to the harmful effects of the sun and the environment and more often develop skin problems. It involves the use of a high energy current to produce intense heat which destroys the lesion.

MILIA/ SKIN TAG REMOVAL

Milia are small, hard white/yellow cysts that occur when keratin (dead skin cells) gets trapped beneath the skin. They are most common on the forehead, on the cheeks, and around the eyes . They cannot be scrubbed away or squeezed out without safely creating an opening in the skin.
During your spa treatment, a laser energy source will be pulsed against the skin lesion until it is fully removed. The treatment is relatively comfortable and most patients describe it as a quick, hot prickling sensation on the skin.

PIGMENTATION

Laser Pigmentation Removal works to safely and effectively reduce the appearance of freckles, pigmentation and post-trauma pigmentation including acne scars and age spots. The laser targets only the pigmented lesion in the skin which absorbs the light, without damaging the surrounding skin. The laser heats up and shatters the pigment. The pigment is then drawn to the surface without harming the surrounding tissue.

Once drawn to the surface, the pigmented lesions will fade or dry and flake off the treated area, leaving the skin with an even tone and complexion.
